Betsy Muller2 months agoWe booked a one night stay on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Our room was absolutely stunning, comfortable and filled with luxurious touches to make it special. Check in was easy and door code as well as wifi passwords were sent in advance to help up feel at home right away. The weather was a bit cool, but we were able to enjoy the pool area and patio. .The restaurant and bar were very busy with several large group when we had our reservation. Our server was kind and apologized for the delay getting drinks and food. Management stopped by and graciously comped our dinners and drinks, in apology. We appreciated that. The entrees were absolutely delicious. I had the lemon chicken and my husband had the Milanese beef with pasta. Hot made to order breakfast was also included with our stay and was excellent as well. The location, wine and views just can't be beat in this part of the midwest. Give yourself a special treat and book a night or two.
Peggy F3 weeks agoBrunch was our main attraction. Our server was great. She can’t control the speed of the kitchen or the bar. The view was fabulous. You cannot screw up a view of Lake Erie. We had a ‘bad’ feeling about this location when the day before we were asked to leave as only guest can check things out. We kept our reservation and enjoyed brunch the next day. Only to be asked to leave within 60 minutes. Maybe we should have been made aware that there was a time limit on this brunch reservation. We probably would have just started in the open seating area. Will we give it another opportunity? More than likely but with different expectations. We understand that eating out is not like eating at home. Where the time is unless. Their open seating area is more accommodating to those of us who like to linger. This knowledge may help with your next visit.
Rich Martin3 weeks agoGreat place with a great staff. Gwen was awesome in introducing us to the property and taking care of us while enjoying the pool. Dinner was excellent with an awesome view. Michelle was a great server and very attentive to us. The breakfast was also very good. We will definitely return!
Elise Smith3 months agoMy husband and I used Vincent Williams as our elopement location. We could not be more satisfied with the entire experience! Each staff member we encountered was courteous and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable, and provided many amenities. We were thrilled to see the uninhabited view of the lake from our windows. Our dinner accommodations were wonderful as well. They made us feel welcomed and celebrated. All food and drink was phenomenal!! Thank you Vincent Williams for making the start of our forever unforgettable.
amaya mix2 months agoMy weekend at Vincent Williams was incredible. I came here and spent the weekend in room 201, the views from the room were incredible, the bed was so comfortable and the room felt luxurious. I came to propose to my girlfriend on the property. I had wanted to propose outside but due to weather I was unable to, I was very worried about having to change plans in a day. However, Hillary, the manager took charge and worked to find the perfect location and setting for me to propose. Her help made the experience perfect and she even arranged a private dinner for us as well to celebrate. All of the hospitality was something I had never experienced before, every single person had a smile and was happy to be there and be of service for any questions. Gwen, Russle, Alison, and Taylor were incredible staff members and made our stay! This was the homey luxury I was looking for and we will certainly be back!
