Christian Walker3 years agoWhat a fantastic historic treasure! Beautifully furnished rooms, each appointed with informational plaques and artefacts to view. Many original pieces within this building from its various uses over the years are all well maintained. I really have to commend the folks that were out assisting and answering questions over Independence Day open house tours, you all were great!
Stacey2 years agoThe importance of this house is immeasurable. I visited many times as a child, but the impact is much bigger as an adult. The historical society has done a great job of preserving the Underground Railroad House, and I hope their fundraising helps to continue the house's legacy for many generations.

Rita Pratt6 years agoNathan Thomas house was a wonderful experience! Not only did it tell of the adventures of its namesake and family, it’s a beautiful tribute to Schoolcraft as a town. Nancy is a lovely tour guide that spent abundant time with us, answering questions and sharing valuable information! Thank you!
Juanita Conkle4 years agoWas that the 4th of July Festival the house was open from 12:00 to 3:00 for 2 hours it was awesome learned a lot very unique called to make sure they're open before you drive all the way here though because it's all done by volunteers
