Roy Thomson Hall is a concert hall and event venue in downtown Toronto's Entertainment District. It opened in 1982, designed by Canadian architect Arthur Erickson and distinguished by its sloping, curvilinear glass exterior. Home to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, a premier venue for Toronto International Film Festival gala screenings, and a corporate/meetings venue, it is operated by The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall and seats up to 2,630.
