Lara McDonald4 months agoNice clean rooms and privacy. The location is central to the area. They do have a hot tub which is nice to relax in after a long day. The kitchen area was low on supplies but we're available at the front desk if needed. The sidewalks were quite snow covered during my 4 day stay. They also allow dogs so beware if you have allergies. Most were very well behaved. Wednesday night they also have a free social feo. 5 to 7pm with free appetizers. There is a Black Rock steakhouse in the same parking lot that is within walking distance
Sarah Lovella month agoWe recently stayed here unexpectedly because our original hotel stay at the neighboring hotel was overbooked and they could not honor our reservation. I have been a loyal to that brand. This hotel was neat and clean. The staff were friendly and engaging. Rhonda, the manager on site was amazing and went out of her way to make us comfortable. We will stay here again for sure!!
Centerria Manning4 months agoI am not certain if the individual I interacted with was the manager; however, her behavior was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. This experience occurred on my son’s birthday. I had called the hotel the day prior because when I initially booked the room, I forgot to include my children and my niece on the reservation. I spoke with a staff member named Steve, who was very kind and informed me that it would not be an issue if the children were not listed. During my stay, a staff member approached me after noticing that I had balloons with me. I explained that it was my son’s birthday and that the balloons were only for photos and would be taken back to my car. She stated that the hotel does not allow parties. I clarified that it was not a party, but she insisted that having other children present “sounded like a party.” For context, I have four children, along with my niece. Her tone was rude and dismissive throughout the interaction. What was most upsetting was that shortly afterward, a woman of a different race entered the hotel with several “Happy Birthday” balloons and was not addressed or questioned at all. This made the situation feel unfair and discriminatory. In addition to this interaction, the room was not properly cleaned. There were visible stains on the floor, dust on the headboard, and hair present on the bed. Due to the staff member’s attitude regarding the balloons, I took photos of the room before and after my stay in case there were any issues with my deposit. Overall, I was very disappointed with this experience. I will continue to stay with Hilton properties in the future, but I will not be returning to this particular hotel.
Kim Marie3 months agoLocation is right off the highway. Great location with all the different varieties and choices of food. My issue was the room service. Stayed for two weeks for work. The day I checked in, the room had a pleasant fragrance. The first week was ok. Towels refreshed 1 time. Second week, nothing. When I asked why I didn't get service or have the sheets changed, I was told I had the do not disturb sign out. Never had it out. Kitchen towel, dishwasher soap, never replaced. But my personal items were moved and turned upside down that we're on the counter. Room never smelled fresh after the first night.
Kimberly Pierce6 months agoThis is by far our favorite hotel in the Kalamazoo area. We visit family multiple times a year here and have tried many different hotels and Airbnbs. The price is fair, the rooms are clean and include a kitchen (with dishwasher and full size refrigerator), the location is convenient, the breakfast buffet and hot cocoa bar is fabulous (and free), the laundry is affordable ($2 wash), pet friendly, and the service is impeccable. Every employee has been kind and helpful. We have no reason to go elsewhere.

We have 2 meeting rooms that are available in a fun environment! Our Corporate Meeting Room comfortable seats 5-30 people. Our Alley Meeting Room holds 30-60 people. All of our room rentals come with free wi-fi, screen usage, projector usage, if needed, sounds, speaker phone, and competitive rates. All rooms are rented by Rental Agreement Contracts and all paperwork should be submitted 30 days prior to meeting. In-house catering available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Come early to your meeting, stay later after your meeting to eat and play!

It is available to rent Mon-Sat from 9am until 9pm and Sunday from 9am until 8pm. The loft has tables and chairs for 40 people, a restroom and water station, and we have beer, wine, cider and plenty of NA options available to order at the bar downstairs. Kids are allowed in the loft for private events, unfortunately we do not allow pets. There is no rental fee to reserve the loft, but we have an hourly beer minimum.
