Patricia Roberts2 months agoI'm writing a review giving a certain employee a 5 star rating for her service but her personality. I found Amber Fleser to be pleasant, helpful, and she did her best to make us feel better about what had happened to us and why we needed a rental car. We were dreading taking the rental back not knowing the area and did have a little difficulty in finding the correct spot but she made everything better and helped us to calm down with our high anxiety. Very pleasant and kind just a happy person and knew her job well!!!
The Prindlesa month agoThis was hands-down, the best rental car experience I’ve had in my many years of travel. The team there on the ground are absolute professionals and a pleasure to interact with. They went the extra mile to accommodate my needs and answer all my questions. I highly recommend renting from Hertz if you are visiting the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek area.
Brandon Tattersall5 months agoI rent from Hertz frequently (over 60 days last year), which makes this experience especially disappointing. The vehicle I received was dirty inside and out, but the bigger issue occurred at the end of the rental. Due to what may have been a booking date error, I was three days late returning the car. Instead of contacting me by phone, text, or email, Hertz remotely disabled the vehicle while I was more than 50 miles from the airport — with no warning. Customer Service and Roadside Assistance refused to reactivate it, forcing me to arrange a tow truck and last-minute transportation to the airport at my own expense. This situation could have been resolved with a simple phone call. Stranding a loyal customer without warning is unacceptable. I will not be using Hertz again.
Darra McLouth5 months agoSteve, Amber and Dee are seriously excellent employees. They were Friendly, courteous, patient, kind and respectful. I can not say enough good things about this rental company. Update many months later. Still shouting from the roof tops! Amber and Derdra(spelling?) are wonderful employees of your company! Smiling, helpful, cheerful attitudes that make my experience with this company absolutely wonderful.
James Myszka2 months agoParking lot is marked, but not towards the airport. And there's nobody working the lot. So good luck finding car. That said, small airport so not too bad getting out.
