Walking into PORTALS, I honestly didn't know what to expect, but I walked out completely blown away. In a world where every single attraction relies on sterile LED screens and lazy digital projections, this place feels like a breath of fresh air. It is a stunning, deeply emotional reminder of what human creativity can actually achieve. Pure Awe and Wonder The sheer scale of the craftsmanship hits you the moment you cross the threshold. Seeing 10,000 hand-painted miniatures and massive, physical cinematic sets felt incredibly intimate. You can actually feel the hours, the sweat, and the pure passion poured into every single realm. Standing inside their version of Atlantis, I felt that rare, childlike sense of wonder that you usually lose as an adult. It was completely overwhelming in the best way possible. The Evolution of Imagination This exhibit perfectly captures how far the sci-fi and fantasy industry has come. It bridges the gap beautifully between: The nostalgic, vintage roots of tabletop gaming and classic sci-fi art. The jaw-dropping, high-production physical world-building of modern pop culture. Seeing this evolution laid out makes you realize that the future of entertainment isn't just about faster computers or better AI. It is about human beings pushing the boundaries of physical storytelling. If PORTALS is a glimpse of where the industry is heading next, the future of immersive experiences looks incredibly bright, deeply personal, and limitlessly promising. It is a absolute must-visit.
This is one of the best exhibitions I’ve been to in Singapore in a while. It’s a great ode to the stories that bring back waves of nostalgia in terms of childhood memories and serve as a stark reminder of how they have been crafted theough the power of vivid imagination by great minds inspired by the lore of storytelling that has its origin in the ancient civilizations thousands of years ago. For anyone who considers themselves an avid reader or even a casual passenger on the journey of these stories, this would be a highlight trip, well worth the $30 spent on the tickets.
Our family’s first time here earlier this month and we were impressed with visiting Expo Titanic. The indoor space may not be sprawling big but it is big enough, and well segmented. Love they could accommodate an immersive and kid-friendly experience. Staff were helpful too. Thank you! 🙏🏻
I only discovered the Fever Exhibition Hall three years after moving to Singapore. I'm sure there were events happening at the exhibition complex all that time, but they didn't interest me. Then I saw information about the Titanic exhibition. Realizing that items and documents related to that tragedy would be on display, I decided to go, and my expectations were not disappointed. Of course, the restored items from the sunken Titanic do not look as gloomy as they did at the bottom of the ocean. But they still convey a very heavy energy. Many thanks to the divers and restorers for their hard work, and thanks to the exhibition organizers. Everything was very interesting and moving. I was particularly inspired by the handwritten telegrams from visitors to the exhibition on the wall at the end of the exhibition.
Formerly DFS Galleria Building, Fever is a converted space for exhibition and other incentives where stakeholders can showcase their products, hold meetings and specifically exhibitions. I was impressed by their first-ever Titanic Exhibition that immersed visitors into the world of oceanic voyages of the recent past which is 21st Century. These artefacts and storytelling were so touching that it encapsulates emotions and relations with the people who built RMS Titanic, passengers who made it on the Voyage list and those who seek for a better refuge in the New World but perished under the frigid waters of the lcy Atlantic. Love the interactive booths and the photo opportunities at each section. Salute to those who went down with the unsinkable and embrace those who got to witness the tragedy and live on to tell the tales of the unpredictable oceans and seas to bring us the present of being appreciative and the future of a brighter hope.
