Cookies & analytics
You control optional analytics. Here is what we measure and how to manage your choice.
Essential cookies & preferences
Destinaitor uses cookies to maintain your signed-in or guest session. Your browser also stores preferences such as your chosen colour theme. These support the features you use and are separate from optional analytics.
Optional analytics
When you allow analytics, Destinaitor measures page visits, search result counts, filter names, comparisons, saves, sharing and whether agent requests succeed. This helps us improve the service.
Optional analytics also measures page loading, responsiveness and layout stability, plus counts of browser errors. We store bounded performance values and error categories, never error messages, stack traces or page content.
We use a random first-party visitor identifier for up to 90 days and a session identifier that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Your preference lasts 90 days. If you sign in, consented activity can be linked to your account so it can be exported and deleted.
Our internal analytics does not store your email address, search text, chat messages, filenames, full URLs, IP address or browser fingerprint. We keep broad traffic sources, device category, domain and, where available, country.
When enabled on our production website and you allow analytics, we also use Google Analytics to measure visits and page views. Google receives a random browser identifier, page information without query strings or private sharing identifiers, a referring domain and basic browser information. Connecting to Google also transmits your IP address to its servers. We do not send account identifiers, email addresses, search text or chat content to Google, and advertising features are disabled. How Google uses information from partner sites.
Google Analytics uses separate first-party cookies, prefixed with “destinaitor”, with a maximum configured lifetime of 90 days. Data already received by Google is managed separately under our Google Analytics property’s retention settings.
With your Google Analytics consent, we also measure when you start signing in or registering from this application, and when you successfully return signed in. A temporary cookie expires within five minutes and lets our server confirm a successful return once. We do not measure activity inside the external sign-in forms, or treat a successful return as proof that a new account was created.
Our internal analytics normally retains events for 180 days and removes expired events through scheduled cleanup. Authorized analytics administrators can view the measurements. These measurements cover only consenting browsers and are not a count of every person who visits.
Use “Analytics preferences” below to decline or withdraw. Withdrawal stops future tracking, removes our Google Analytics cookies and erases this browser’s internal analytics events. It does not automatically erase information already sent to Google. A random-ID suppression record is retained temporarily in our internal analytics to prevent in-flight requests from recreating the data. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep analytics off.
Core account, favourites and conversation records are separate from optional analytics: they remain necessary to provide the features you use. Account export and deletion are available in your account settings.
