  After attending other events at Cézanne, my husband and I elected to host our wedding and reception at the venue when we married in November 2025. The versatility of the venue shone through with exposed brick, polished hardwoods, and high ceilings making the space feel open, spacious, and inviting, but with a little history – not just your average venue. The gorgeous Jim Sajovic art installation in place at the time was absolutely perfect for the background of our wedding and kept us from having to overengineer any décor. The footprint comfortably accommodated our group of approximately 125 people, while the Cézanne team kindly and warmly accommodated us and our guests. They handled several logistical details on our behalf to reduce our mental (over)load. They were accommodating in every possible way, kind and encouraging, and above all, the perfect people to have in charge of our big day. They organized the flip of the room post-ceremony/pre-reception in a way that was seamless, efficient, and unnoticeable. Private parking and ease of access via the streetcar made it seamless for our guests to get to and from the venue from their hotels and homes. Planning our event with Cézanne’s team was seamless and easy. They communicated clearly and frequently, often emailing or calling with suggestions or to share recommendations – whether for other vendors or other ideas – based on conversations we’d had with them. For example, I know not everyone loves dancing, so I’d put together a series of games and puzzles in our wedding colors, and they helped us create a quaint and cozy game nook. We decided to do “his” and “hers” favorite candies and needed somewhere to set up that display, along with our take-home gift of custom jar candles and matches for our guests. The team was quick to find appropriate shelving and display materials. When I wanted to surprise the groom with a song sung by his band, Cézanne helped me deliver that surprise by allowing the band to arrive early and soundcheck and having everything ready with the sound system. The team consistently steered us in the right direction and helped us to elevate every last touch – and even save some money! Cézanne’s partner business, Sidecar Cocktail Catering, did an exceptional job with our premium drink package, offering something for everyone (including our NA folks), and a beautifully curated menu of our favorite cocktails. We can’t recommend them enough! From the private bridal suite to solid audio equipment to a great photobooth, Cézanne has everything needed for a perfect event all in one location. Our attendees raved about the location and venue, with my mom commenting that Cézanne was the most “us” venue she could think of. Our event was perfect in every day, and we truly owe a huge debt of gratitude to Nico and Joy as the owner and coordinator, respectively, and to the bartenders and back of house staff who worked tirelessly to ensure our event was seamless and perfect – and it really was! We will forever treasure our memories of our special day and will keep coming back for other events. If you’re looking for an intimate, cozy, beautiful space for your event, I under you to strongly consider Cézanne.

  I recently hosted a celebration of life for my mother at Cézanne and the experience was truly incredible. While this was a non-traditional event for the space, the team handled it with so much grace. The assistant event manager, Joy, met me with a level of kindness and flexibility that made this heavy day feel so much lighter. She was so proactive in her coordination and setup that I barely had to lift a finger which allowed me to focus entirely on my guests and family. Joy is an exceptional addition to this team and I could not have pulled this off without her. The venue itself is stunning and comfortably accommodated our 100 guests. It’s clear that Cézanne is a versatile space perfect for all kinds of occasions well beyond weddings. The space also had the perfect amenities. We were able to play a custom playlist of my mom’s favorite songs throughout the night, display picture slideshows on two different projector screens, and had a podium and microphone for speeches, all of which was ready to use upon my arrival. We also ordered the perfect catering through Cézanne/Westport Café. Romain created a beautiful cheese and charcuterie board that was curated with immense finesse and attention to detail. Not only was it a beautiful addition to the event, my guests clearly loved it, as there was only a few bites left at the end of the night. He was a delight to work with and is so good at what he does. I have endless positive things to say about this experience and am grateful beyond words for this space and its warm, talented staff. Please consider Cézanne for your next event, I am certain you will not regret it.

  We had a NYE reception here and it was absolutely perfect. Everyone thought the venue was absolutely beautiful and loved the art around the venue. Joy was amazing to work with. She is very responsive and easy going, she did an amazing job. Nico was great to work with as well and its nice having the owner help with any recommendations and thoughts with the space. 10000/10 recommend!

  2016 Main is the perfect space to celebrate. The exposed brick, beautiful wood floors, and tastefully curated art and decor create such an elegant ambiance. The layout of 2016 allowed for a harmonious flow throughout the evening with plenty of space for dancing, mingling and intimate conversation. Our guests loved the craft cocktails made with quality ingredients and beautifully garnished. We also had several comments of appreciation on the wine selection. We are so grateful to Nicolas for helping us create the wedding we envisioned. Although we planned the wedding while living in Denver, we never lost any sleep knowing that we had Nicolas’s experience and keen taste on our side.

  You can stop looking for a venue - 2016 Main is IT!! When we first walked in to this space, I knew right away that I wanted to get married there! It is STUNNING. Exposed brick, hardwood floors, greenery wall, gorgeous decorative white wall, artwork...you name it, they've got it! You probably didn't realize that you want a collage wall filled with formal dog portraits at your wedding, but I can assure you that YOU DO, and 2016 Main has it! We loved this space for so many reasons, but a big deciding factor was because we didn't have to rent any extras! I'm not exaggerating when I say that all we did was add flowers and votives on the tables, rent some linens, and the space looked fully decorated and GORGEOUS! My pictures are beautiful and so so elegant! The owners, Pat and Jodi, will forever be 2 of my very favorite people. They are SO MUCH FUN! They are laid back and will make you feel relaxed and at ease, while also being extremely attentive, focused on details, and quick to communicate. I sent Pat so many questions and changed so many things, and he was always so great about it and responded right away! Pat also acted as our day-of-coordinator. He contacted all of my vendors and arranged everything. I didn't get peppered with any last minute questions from vendors and everyone showed up on time and had everything we needed! Everyone always says that something will go wrong on your wedding day, but honestly, I can't think of ANYTHING that went wrong, and I know that that is in major part due to all of Pat and Jodi's help and planning both leading up to the big day, as well as their assistance the day of! I can't stop re-living the day and looking at our pictures of the venue. Now that the wedding is over, I'm honestly trying to think up a reason to rent the space all over again just to have an excuse to hang out with Pat and Jodi and be surrounded by so much elegance and beauty again. In case I didn't drive the point home, THIS is the venue you want and THESE are the people you want helping you plan! Make your appointment ASAP and go ahead and cancel the others...this is the only space you'll need to see. Take it from the bride who toured 14 wedding venues... ;)
